Have you ever bought a stamp set and then wondered " what did I have in mind for this set?" I bought Borderettes and it sat in the box, lonely and uninked! Tonight was the night that she would see ink!
Using each of the 2014 – 2016 In Colors, I inked a border stamp from the set. Because they are photopolymer I did not need a stamp-a-ma-jig. In my book, that is a definite plus!
To create my flowers, I used the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch to punch 3 pieces of Blackberry Bliss cardstock for each flower. Laying them out, I spritzed them with water & scrunched them up. After stacking the 3 scalloped circles together, I pierced a hole in the middle so I could add the Candy Dot Base to the stack. Of course, a pretty Candy Dot was added to the flower.
Because my color scheme is the new In Colors, I punched a few butterflies from the Moonlight dsp stack with the Bitty Butterfly punch. Rhinestone Basic jewels add the final touch.
I am counting down until Convention and of course, I am working hard so that I will have posts for your every day that I am gone. Be sure to check back tomorrow because I will begin sharing some of my Convention creations.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
