Although I am at Convention, I wanted to share with you a card that I made for my Upline's Upline – Lisa Pretto.
I used the Striped Scallop Thinlit to cut my scallop layer. I chose to place it sidewise and I used the Two Way Glue Pen to adhere it. Back to Black was my dsp of choice for my card. I love the combo of Daffodil delight & Black so my accent pieces are Daffodil delight.
Doesn't the 1/4" Daffodil delight Cotton Ribbon make the perfect bow for my card! The sentiment in the middle of my Pinwheel Flower is from the set Label Something. The "o" in you is binged up with some Rhinestone Basic jewels.
Be sure to check back after Convention to see the pictoral Tutorial.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
It is difficult to see the pinwheel, being all the same color paper. I love the background and thank you for showing it. What framlite is the yellow behind the blue DSP paper? Very nice looking card and a different take on the pinwheel card.
I love this! It is hard to see the pinwheel, but I love the card and the yellow ribbon is just the right embellishment!!
OMG, I loved the one for Mary but this is OUTSTANDING! I love black and yellow (or gold for U of I) so this right away I was alert and paying attention! I guess my mind must run around in circles because I caught the pinwheel look right away with the different papers and then the yellow behind the pinwheel helped even more! the scalloped thinlet makes a wow statement here. I wasn’t sure about it when I saw it in the catalog but on here it is super cool! The center of the pinwheel is just the best with it’s little touch of bling! The ribbon is just the icing on the cake! I totally love this card! I wonder how the pinwheel would look with just a plain black background or white or even yellow? The scallops just add another jolt to the mix! Oh wait, I am drinking iced tea with caffeine in it – no wonder this is clear as a bell for me! Can you tell I really like this card? Let us know how Lisa and Mary liked the cards! I am definitely getting that stamp set too as I think I would use it a lot! Thanks for the stimulation, it’s a beauty!
