My card today is a very simple card designed to use up some of those scrap pieces that we all accumulate. Do you keep those long skinny pieces? I just can't bring myself to throw them out so I decided that I needed to use some of them before they took over the house! Can you imagine the headlines – "Crazy Stamper is Crowded Out of Her Home By the Accumulation of Paper Scraps"! Sure don't want to be that lady. Yikes! Better start using them!
My strips of cardstock are 1/2" wide and of varying lengths. I put them on the card and then trimmed them to fit. As you can see, for this card I used my 2013-2015 In Color scraps. Eazy Peazy but it works for any occassion.
Be sure to come back tomorrow because I am starting a series based on ideas from our Stampin' Magazine from Stampin' Up! called Stampin' Success.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Til tomorrow!
Hugs,
Ginger
I like simple. This is very cute, and what a GREAT way for us consultants to display the New In Colors when they are released as well!!
I too save all those crazy little strips, rectangles, triangles, circles, etc. with the idea I might ‘need’ them one day. Now I have a reason–so I can make all kinds of cards with all kinds of colors and shapes. LOL
I like this card, simple but attractive! Now please work on a card with smaller scraps.
Wow, what a great card! Quick but eye catching! Congrats to the boys for wining last night!
Wonderful card! I just spent another 2 hours at the vet with a very sick dog. I think I could maybe handle making a card like this that said thanks with a paw print on there. Sometimes it’s these “duh” moments that are the best. Why didn’t I play with some of my scraps and come up with this?
Love it. Your cards always make me smile. Keep warm, my friend. Spring will come!
This card really caught my eye, like you said you could use it for so many things & I think even I could do this card! Thanks for sharing your masterpieces!
I adore this card. It is very eye catching and the simplicity makes it very doable.
