Yesterday on my blog, I posted a card that was designed by a Concept Artist at Stampin' Up! and shared in the Stampin' Success Magazine. I promised you that I would create several cards using the same basic design. The reason I am doing this is to illustrate that we all CAS (Copy & Share). And, Stampin' Up! encourages us to do just that.
The card today is using some wild dsp – just like yesterday! And, I used the same basic design. Check it out.
This finished card isize s 3" x 6". Notice that the sentiment from Bring on the Cake is stamped at the top of the card – just like yesterday. Again, I used a 1/4" strip of Cardstock (Pistachio Pudding) across the patterened dsp in order to ground the sentiment and to add a splash of color.
The embellishment is created with a 1/8" Certainly Celery (retired) Ribbon Bow . In addition I stamped a small butterfly from the Papillion Potpourri Stamp Set using Calypso Coral Ink on Calypso Coral Cardstock. The Bitty Butterfly Punch made it eay to punch out! No fussy cutting! A string of Rhinestone basic Jewels adds some bling to the center of the butterfly.
Although the design is pretty basic, it is definitely one worth keeping in mind for those times when you need a quick and easy card. Take a look at the cards side-by-side.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Please come back tomorrow as I will be sharing another card using the same basic design.
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:

Wonderful cards! Easy but fun! One could really use their imagination and paper.
The CASE (copy and share) concept is brilliant. So much easier to start somewhere and build than out of thin air especially when the creativity isn’t flowing. I love these cards.
Oh Ginger, you do know me. I love this card, I love what you did with it.
