When I arrived home yesterday from the basketball tournament (the team my son coaches won the District Championship! -yea), I noticed that the blog post that I planned for today inadvertantly posted yesterday. Yep. I had 2 posts yesterday. Still wanting to have a post today, I quickly photographed a card and an updated version this a.m. My stamp set of choice today is an oldie but a goodie! And, it has a matching punch. Create a Cupcake stamp set combined with the Cupcake Builder Punch make quick work of this card. No fussy cutting!
This card idea is from Andrea Walford. My version is very similar but I added more texture by using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder on the Crumb Cake c.s. and stamping the sentiment and punching it out with the Modern Label Punch. Best part – you can get the embossing folder free with any $50 order not including shipping & tax)
Both cards used the same color combo and the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper. Creating birthday cards is so easy with the help of this paper! It has so many wonderful patterns to choose from.
The sentiment comes from the all-purpose stamp set - Sweet Essentials. This is a good all around set that contains a nice variety of greetings. And, it fir perfectly in the Modern Label Punch. The sentiment was popped up for added dimension using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Here's a look at the cards together.
A trio of Basic Rhinestone jewels and my card is complete.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger

Love this card too! I like the textured one the best. Also love the soft colors, you hit it out of the ball park with this card!
