Hi Friends! Today I am sharing a card made for the PPA 177 Sketch Challenge. The sketch was created by the talented Nicole Watt.
While creating my card, I switched gears in the middle. After completing this card, and posting it for the challenge, I returned to the original version and completed it. Now, I am not sure which card I like best.
So, I am asking you, my blog readers, to please leave me a comment telling me your pick. Shiny cards are difficult to photograph – lots of shadows.
See what I mean about the shadows. Guess I needed more light. Maybe it would help if you could see the cards side-by-side.
As you can see, the cards are very similar. The main difference is the Silver Glimmer paper vs the embossed Silver Foil Paper. And, if you look closely, you will see different bows on the cards. Honestly, the card on the right is better than it looks in this picture. The shadows are so distracting.

Have you made your wishlist from the 25 year Anniversary Stamp Sale yet? So many wonderful stamp sets to choose from. I know that some sets that I just couldn't wait to get are on sale now for 25% off. One of those is A Dozen Thoughts (page 59 of the big catalog). Obviously this is a set of sentiments. My favorite in the set is the just because. I love the font used. Another all-time favorite stamp set is Gorgeous Grunge (page 109 of the catalog). This is like the little black dress of stamps. It is an all purpose set that can be used in so many ways.

And, if you saw something that you need, please click on the shop now button at the top of the page to be taken to my online store.

Ginger: Both cards are fabulous. I absolutely love the one with the glimmer paper. The color combination and the glimmer are stunning!
ABSLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! LOVE THEM BOTH! MY ADDRESS IS………LOL!
I don’t think you can go wrong with either card, I love them both so it is difficult to say one. I like the glitter for Christmas and I do like this bow better. Something about this card just feels perky. The foil card is also wonderful the lines on the foil make it look like “stepping out of the box.” I like that concept. I guess if I have to vote for one I would say the glitter card, but you can’t go wrong with either card.
I like the one on the left with the glimmer paper and the bigger red bow. I think it is classier looking, but then as you said the picture of the one with the silver paper most likely doesn’t do justice to the card. I still like the red bow better than the twine however.
Wow Ginger!!! Fabulous job with both cards!! Love the glimmer paper though my friend!! Love, love that sparkle!!!
i like them both . . . i might lean a teeny bit toward the glitter version!
Both card are beautiful. The Glimmer paper version makes me think of ice. Perfect for winter around here. TFS!
Yowza…both versions are gorgeous! If I had to pick, however, I would choose the glimmer paper card.
I love the fact that you made two different variations of your card. They are both beautiful, too. Seeing your cards motivates me to get out my wreath stamp and play, as I haven’t used it yet!
