Are you wondering what in the world the title of this post means? Because I have the witches' hat on the card but no feet, it made me think of a popular saying when I was a child. Do you have any Halloween sayings that have stuck with you?
Have you seen the Best of halloween Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! yet? It is the cutest set! Honestly, I can't pick a favorite image from this set. I like that the stamps are not uber scary. Pairing Witches' Brew Designer Paper with this stamp set creates lots of possibilities. Check out what I created for you today.
After stamping the Witches' Hat with Black Staz On Ink, I cut it out with the Chalk Talk Framelits. I fussy cut a slightly larger tag out of Summer Starfruit c.s. in order to have a little pop of color and to pull the Summer Starfruit out of the stripe paper. Of course, the hat needed some Rhinestone bling.
Trick or Treat came from the Tags 4 You set. After stamping it in Black Staz On Ink, I punched it out with the the Label Bracket Punch. Don't you love the punches from Stampin' Up! that match a stamp set? I sure do! In order to provide a bit of contrast for this piece, I fussy cut a black label for it. Add another Rhinestone so that the one on the hat isn't lonely, and together they create my focal image.
Adding some Pumpkin Pie Candy Dots under the strip of striped paper, adds some balance to my card and they form a triangle with the spiders that are crawling up the paper. This will be a fun card to send to someone for Halloween.
