The card for the post today was created to lift the spirits of a male friend who is struggling with some health issues. This card needed to be fun, colorful and uplifting.
What do you think – does it fit the bill? Seems like my new favorite designer paper pack is Parker's Patterns. It is my go to paper for masculine cards. But I surprised myself by using it on a sympathy card – yes, you read that right! Check back tomorrow to see the card.

Once you select your designer series paper (dsp), it is easy to coordinate cardstock. Just find the dsp in the catalog. Stampin' Up! makes it easy to coordinate because they list the colors that are in the dsp. That is how I knew that Marina Mist, daffodil delight and Cherry Cobbler would work with my choice of dsp.
I appreciate your comments and, I do read each and every one of them.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger

Well Ginger, I think this card would cheer anyone up!
Love the colors and the “healing” hippo. Will surely bring a smile to the face of the recipient. You are doing a fantastic job with your blog – keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing more. PS – Loved my snail mail. Hugs, Mel
Very Cute card. This is another type of card that’s not all that easy to create–especially at the last minute.
Fantastic! Love it! I didn’t really like that paper in the catalog at first glance, but you really made it work!
great man 😀
