Continuing with the Balloon Bash Stamp Set, this card incorporates Chalkboard paper.
Tinge of Ginger:
I love using the Stampin' Up! notecards. They are pre- scored and include envelopes. Using a few drops of Bermuda bay Reinker in a Spritzer filled with rubbing alcohol, I sprayed a light mist over the front of my notecard.
Stamp 2 balloons on the front of the card using a Yellow Citrus Chalk Ink Pad & a Rose Coral Chalk Ink Pad. In addition, stamp the same balloons on Whisper White c.s. with Crushed Curry & Calypso Coral Ink. Fussy cut these balloons & pop on top of the balloons stamped on the card.
Stamp Happy Birthday on Chalkboard paper using Aquamarine Chalk Ink. Make a banner cut on the left side and attach to your card front.
Wrap a length of Crushed Curry Baker's twine around the left side of the card and tie a bow. Sprinkle a few Bermuda Bay sequins & your done!

My card today took a bit more work than yesterday because I did some watercoloring – the easy, no rules kind!
Tinge of Ginger:
The art piece is done on Watercolor Paper using Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral & Tangerine Tango Ink with an Aqua Painter. After it dried, the sentiment was stamped with Versa Mark Ink, I sprinkled White Embossing Powder over it and set it with the Heat Tool.
Stamp the sentiment a second time with Bermuda Bay Ink on Whisper White c.s. Snip out the Celebrate Banner and pop it up on the watercolored piece.
Cover the card front with an Embossed Foil pattern from the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper Pack. Place a strip of striped paper from the same paper pack on a piece of Bermuda Bay c.s. and attach this to the card front.
Wind 2 rows of Whisper White Baker's Twine around the card and tie in a bow.
Sprinkle a few Bermuda Bay Sequins and you are finished!

Today I am sharing a fun 3×3 birthday card enclosure that goes together in a jif! Sweet & simple!
A Tinge of Ginger:
With a sentiment like "Light 'em up", I better be showing candles! This image comes from the Balloon Bash Stamp Set that I am highlighting this week. If you missed the card yesterday, click on this link to be taken to it. Balloon Bash
Each of the candles was colored with the brush end of a Stampin' Write Marker. My color choices are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Mossy Meadow and Tangerine Tango. After Banner Cutting the bottom of this piece, it was placed on a 1-7/8" x 3" pieces of Whisper White c.s.
The front of the 3" x 6" card is covered with a pattern paper from the Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper. It brings just the right pop of color.
A length of Bermuda Bay Baker's twine is stapled on the front of the art piece and then tied into a bow.
