Gosh, I am really enjoying creating with some of the new products. Here's my latest super simple card.
A new In Color Mint Macron provides such a nice softness for my card. The stamped image is courtesy of the new stamp set You've Got This and it is colored with some of the new 2015 – 2017 In Color Markers. The stamp set also contains the subtle background stamp that is inked with Mint Macron Ink & stamped off creating a soft & subtle backdrop for my stamped flower.
The flower is highlighted by a luscious piece of new Mint Macron 1" Dotted Lace Trim that is wrapped around the Very Vanilla card stock image & tied in a bow. If you look closely at the center of the bow, you will find a new embellishment – a 2015 -2017 In Color Blossom Accent.
The stamped image is then matted on a thin layer of Mint Macron card stock which is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals onto the Very Vanilla card base.

Can you spot the new product? Let's start with the stamp set. It is called You've Got This and it includes the gorgeous background stamp as well as the flower and some sentiments. The Background stamp is inked with a new In Color - Delightful Dijon, stamped off once, and then stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. The flower image is colored with the new 2015 – 2017 In Color Markers. I chose to use the Watermelon Wonder & Cucumber Crush markers.
My Rich Razzleberry card base is an A2 size that I embossed with the new Boho Chic Folder. It is topped with a luscious piece of paper from the new Bohemian Designer Series Paper Pack. Don't you love the bold bright colors featured on this piece? They are so dramatic! It is matted with a Bermuda Bay mat .
That layer is topped with the art pice which is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. A few strips of the new Bohemian Designer Washi Tape pull the colors together & a small Rich Razzleberry Button tied with Metallic Gold Baker's twine adds the final touch.

A friend & colleague recently retired from teaching. She has a quirky sense of humor so I thought she might enjoy this card. It is so apropos for her.
Ginger's Tips:
- The Bermuda Bay card base has a small strip of Daffodil delight card stock attached to the bottom and both layers are embossed with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
- The Blackberry Bliss & Whisper White banners are adjacent to the Daffodil Delight layer & extend beyond the image piece.
- Basic Gray Baker's Twine tied in a bow draws the eye to the left for balance.
- The image piece is created with the Giggle Greetings stamp set ( retiring June 2nd) inked in Basic Gray Ink. The coloring is done with Daffodil delight & Basic Gray Blendabilities.
