Background stamps make it so easy to create a card in no time. I have been playing with the Postage Due stamp and have some cards to share with you today.
To create this card, I first stamped the image with Island Indigo Ink on Whisper White c.s. Then I stamped the image with White Craft Ink on Island Indigo c.s.
Tear the Whisper White piece toward you in two places. Look at the sample to determine where to tear.
Adhere the 2 torn Whisper White pieces to the Island Indigo piece lining up the elements on the 2 pieces of c.s.
Complete the card. I do wish that I had embossed the Rich Razzleberry c.s.
Here is another sample using the same technique but with a different color combo – Lucky Limeade, More Mustard and Isalnd Indigo.
The color combos for both cards were thanks to the Color Coach. Although I would not have picked the lucky limeade, more mustard, island indigo combo on my own, it does have character and a certain artistic flair that I do appreciate.
The next card is simpler. Just stamp on Island Indigo c.s. with Island Indigo Ink – no tearing. As you can see, this makes for a quick card.

If the card isn't cute enough, she included a decorated envelope. The combo is dynamite! And, I hear that this card made its way to a special Aunt.
