My card today is a simple card but one that I like a great deal. The primary ingredient is the Sweet Sadie Washi Tape.

This is a super easy card. First, draw a line. I drew mine 1" up from the bottm left to 1" down on the bottom right. This line is so I will be sure to stamp my image staright. Afetr stamping the image, start applying the washi tape. Your line will help with this too.

Trim the edges of the washi tape even with your Whisper White layer. I added some stitching with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. Mat this layer on a Basic Black piece of cardstock that neasures 4 – 1/8" x 5 – 3/8". This is then adhered to a standard size Pistachio Pudding card base. My card still looked a bit plain so I added some bling. The Gold Sequin Trim is perfect. Pull off a few single sequins and apply them to the card with a dab of Multipurpose Glue.
Sentiments stamped at at angle is on trend. Combine that with a bit of bling and washi tape and you can't go wrong.

Happy Father's Day to all of you! Hopefully you are relaxing and enjoying the day. We are driving a couple of hours in order to enjoy the day with our Son, Daughter-In-Law and 2 adorable boys. In addition to father's Day, we are celebrating the 8th birthday of one of our Grandsons.
When I first saw the You Rock stamp set, I knew that it would be perfect for Father's Day.

Such a simple card but exactly what I wanted! It conveys so much with just a few words and a single image. Happy Father's Day Bob! You have earned a day of relaxation!

After stamping the image, I colored the chair with a Pool Party Marker. A piece of Whisper White 1/2" Seam Binding is stapled to the top. Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

My card today is for my Grandson's 8th birthday on Tuesday. He adores anything that is a transformer or anything to do with Harry Potter. Conor and his Mom are reading the books – surrently almost done with bbok 3.

After stamping the image from Boys Will Be Boys in Staz On Black Ink, I used a Blender Pen with Basic Gray Ink to color it. A Labels Collection Framelit was the perfect size to use to cut the image and a Real Red mat. My card base has texture courtesy of the Zig Zag Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Now for the arrows – The new What's Up Punch made quick work of the Real Red Arrow. And, the Coastal Cabana Arrow was stamped with an image from Boys Will be Boys and then fussy cut, Both arrows are popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The Happy Birthday Banner is also an image from Boys will Be Boys and it is stamped with Basic Gray Ink. The flag ends were created with my scissors and this too is popped up with Dimensionals.
The eyes of the robot are Daffodil Delight Candy Dots from the Brights Pack. I jsut didn't think that Rhinestones would be appreciated as much as the candy dots! And, the candy dots add to the "mechanical" nature of the robot.

I repeated the sentiment on the inside of the card and added a few legoes for interest. The dsp used on my card is from the Maritime pack. The striped pattern is just perfect for any nasculine card. It was carried over to the flap of the envelope too.
