I just love the Flowerpot Designer Series Paper & with the current special of buy 3 get 1 free, I am happy to have several packages of it. Here is one way I used this paper.

After stamping the Sweetbriar Rose with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Whisper White cardstock, I used the Calypso Coral & Old Olive Blendabilities to add color and dimension to my stamped image.
The Deco Labels Framelits create a sweet frame for the Sweetbriar Rose Image. I popped this up with Stampin' Dimensionals on the Flowerpot DSP.

My card is A2 standard size. A bit of Tangerine Tango peeks out from both the top and bottom of the dsp. I used the Bitty Butterfly Punch to create a liitle Tangerine Tango Butterfly. A few Pearls add to its whimsy. In addition a few Pearls adorn the centers of the flowers.
I also wanted to give a special thank you to you for the wonderful comments that you have been leaving for me. I look forward to reading your comments – they make my day!

My card today does not involve much stamping because I used the new Flower Frenzy Bigz Die. Because it is a BIgz Die, it is possible to cut many layers at one time. For example, I was able to cut 4 layers which is enough for 4 different flowres. Wish I would have thought of this in time for swaps!
Add a new category…
I cut layers using Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, & Garden Green. This is enough to make 3 different cards. Although I could have used dsp or border stamps to dress up my card, I kept it simple.
The flower is assembled with pop dots for luscious dimension. This flower is a combination of Pink Pirouette & Blushing Bride components with just a circle of Calypso Coral. The leaves of course, are from the Garden Green layer.

The sentiment is from one of my new favorite sets - Fabulous Four. I like the images in this set because they are a bit larger and they are all a different font. Besides, they fit nicely with my flower. A simple Rhinestone adds the bling!

Today I have an easy card to share with you.

Stamp the image with Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. Using the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities, I colored the image. In addition, I used Old Olive Blendabilities for the leaves & the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities for the center.. If you have not had a chance to play with these yet, you will want to! Because they are alcohol markers the color is intense and they blend nicely which makes coloring easy.

The mat for my card was created using the largest square Framelit on Cherry Cobbler card stock. Mount this on a standard A2 card base and you are finished.
