After checking out the sketch made by friend Linda at Freshly Made Sketches I decided to play along.
The sketch lent itself to a masculine card and I felt that Moroccan Nights would be the perfect stamp set for this challenge.
My card is simple and follows the sketch closely. You know how it is when you create a masculine card. It cannot be too fancy or have too many embellishments. Heat Embossing with Copper Embossing Powder allowed me to have a bit of shine on my card without making it look too feminine.
The combination of 5/8" Burlap Ribbon & a strip of Early Espresso Moroccan Washi Tape definitely bring my card back into the masculine realm. However, the cute little sentiment from Sweet Stack stamped on Very Vanilla C.S. with Early Espresso Ink gives my card just a touch of cuteness. After cutting it with a scallop circle from Layering Circles, I mounted it on a circle of Early Espresso C.S. that was also cut with the Layering Framelits Circles.

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:
Very nice card! Love the design, the stamp set. It is a man’s card!
I thought elegant before I read masculine, can they be elegant and masculine. Other than that it is a very, very nice card for either male or female. I love it!!
Who knew copper embossing plus burlap ribbon? But, they look great together plus the washi tape! The sentiment creates a touch of whimsy that makes you smile! I have not seen many people use that medallion from that stamp set and it looks great here. Fun and a bit unusual!
I thought your card could be male or female! I really liked the burlap ribbon & the washi tape but loved the medallion shape! So simple but it really carries a punch! Love the card!
Beautiful and elegant card! That copper embossing looks amazing. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
