Today I am sharing a birthday card that I created for my Grandson. Although he is only turning 8, he adores basketball.
I hope that Carson enjoys spinning the basketball as much as I do. There is something hypnotic about watching the ball spin its way around the circle! The basic directions for this card are the same as I shared yesterday for the buzzing bee card. The Layering Circle Framelits are just the ticket for creating the spinning basketball.
The hoop was created by downloading an image that I googled. In order to make it more realistic, I used my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker to color the net & the ball. With any spinner card, be sure to pop up this center circle so that the element that you are spinning has room to move around the circle.
The basketball is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals on a pair of pennies that are sandwiched with 2 Stampin' Dimensionals. The birthday banner was created with the Confetti Celebration Stamp Set & a Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
