Although I am back from our Southern California vacation with the whole family, I am still recuperating. Guess I am not as young as I once was! With that said, I felt like stamping today but nothing intense. So, that is why you are seeing some quick & easy cards today. I created 3 similar cards with minor variations. The post about the box & cards from the past week will post tomorrow.
A slightly different version.
One more with a different sentiment.
As you can see, the cards are basically the same with just some variation with mats & sentiments. The best part is that these are quick & easy cards that can be further embellished with Enamel Shapes, Pearls, or Rhinestones. I chose to keep mine simple.
Here is another view from the right side.
I like the look created by stamping on Designer Series Paper & the Serene Scenery DSP Stack is created with this in mind. Although I chose to use different sentiments than the stamp set Scenic Sayings created to coordinate with this DSP stack.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Remember that if you have any questions about my cards, I am only an email away.
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Oh, I just want to run my fingers over that paper – it looks so, well, touchie feelie! But, I think it is just the photo of it on regular paper right? However, or whatever I REALLY like it! We have some wallpaper in the upstairs hallway, from the previous owner, that looks like that and I love to touch it once in awhile. I know, weird! The Washi tape and the baker’s twine looks just as rich in texture too. Love the flower stamped on it. Any sentiment would work as well as colors. Love this idea as well as loving this whole card in all three colors. I think I am still leaning towards the first card as my favorite but then again……
This is a nice stamp set and the colors are fabulous. I especially like the last card, I am a bit partial to those colors. I agree with Chris on the background paper. It makes you want to feel it. Thanks for the post and nice work.
Wow, Ging- Love the cards! I am with Chris & Barb regarding wanting to touch the cards. I think I feel a velvet touch! You are right- so much can be done with such simple but nice cards. Good job!
