The start of a new year is the perfect time for the unveiling of the redesign of the Pals Paper Arts Challenges. Our Design Team will still be split into 2 teams but our team will provide only sketches while the other team will provide only color challenges.
The sketch for this challenge was created by the super talented Mary Fish!
My card is designed around the Botanical Blooms Bundle. The Designer Series Paper (dsp) is so vivid and dramatic. Did you know that you can actually stamp on this dsp with the Botanical Blooms Stamp set? Check out my card to see if you can locate the places where I stamped on the dsp. What a fun way to be able to add texture to my card without any bulk.
Drawing from the colors in the dap, I used a Decorative Dots Embossed layer of Old Olive card stock for a mat. This was layered with my dsp layer. A small rectangle of Cajun Craze card stock is embossed with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder & popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The sentiment from Enjoy the Little Things was colored with 3 Stampin' Write Markers – Mint Macron, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow. It is also popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. In addition, 3 small flowers were cut from Hello Honey Card Stock using a framelit from the Botanical Builder Framelit Dies. Tiny Pearl adorn the centers of these flowers.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Please check out the creations of the other Design Team members by clicking here.

Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
My eye goes straight to the multicolored sentiment. Love it!
Ging – For not feeling up to snuff, you did an excellent job! Love the design, colors, and stamp set! Good job!
Love the look of the two embossed pieces. They set the stage for a great card!
Wow what a fun card! Did you maybe stamp over the flowers and leaves for detail? I have not seen the paper in person so I don’t know if there is detail in the flowers and leaves or not let alone how much of white space there really is. Love how you did the sentiment! Just what I needed on this very dreary and foggy day with a side of drizzle on top!
Nice card! You make this DSP come alive. I like the embossed piece at the bottom and the circle with the saying. I love that you picked this DSP, it could be intimidating. I love what you did with it.
Beautiful mix of color and design! I love how you did the sentiment! Pretty floral design!
Beautiful card!
Great paper choice! I love these colors…so lush. Of course, the technique you used for the sentiment is absolutely fabulous!!!
Beautiful Ginger! I especially like the sentiment.
I love how your sentiment colors mimic the DSP!!
Hawai here I come!! Love, love, love!! Fabulous job Ginger!!!
