My card today is based on a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches 201. Although I was a couple hours late for the deadline to post it on their website, I still wanted to share my card with you. Here's the sketch.
As you may have heard, Montana is battling many forest fires. In addition, smoke from fires in the neighboring stats of Idaho & Washington are also blowing our way. Finally we are beginning to get some clean air & we are seeing the return of our famous blue skies for Big Sky Country!
Are you perplexed by the title of my post? Let me explain it. Because I am happy about the clean air, I can only imagine how happy Snokey the Bear must be with the improvement.
I couldn't resist this cute bear dolled up with a bouquet of leaves and a snappy Old Olive Baker's Twine bow. To reinforce the leaf theme of the bouquet, I used a piece of matching paper from the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper. Behind this, I used the woodgrain paper also from the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper.
With such a happy bear on the front of my card, I wanted an equally happy sentiment on the inside of my card. The stamp set Tin of Cards had just what I wanted with "a happy hello" . A strip of the same leaf paper was used on the inside of the card.
Just a reminder that the 2015 -2016 Holiday Catalog is live today! The supplies used for my card are shown below. If you need any of the new product, please click on the shop now button located at the top of this post to be taken to my Online Store.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
This card makes me smile! What a great way to celebrate the return of clean air! Nice job! Love the paper, stamps, and design.
Boo-Boo Bear (Yogi’s side kick) wore a little bow tie didn’t he? Yogi had the regular tie, collar and hat I think. Some of the smoke from the fires out west and in Canada have made their way to Iowa too making for weird colored skies.
Meanwhile, cute card complete with fun DP and the candy dots! I like the mating of the layers too. Sure hope he isn’t holding poison ivy! I like the bear’s little smile- I didn’t notice it on the stamp set! Beary fun indeed!
I had to laugh when I saw your card! I really like it. I think this bear is one of SU’s best of whimsical animals. I’m with Chris, I like the sly smile.
It was a great pick given the Forest Fires that abound all around us.
Snappy saying also. I think everything about this card fits well together and it made me smile with a little laugh. Great job once again, Ginger.
Fun card. Love how you dressed up the bear.
