A sweet little bed of flowers with the chance of a sprinkle or two represents a perfect summer day and that is the type of day that I am hoping for today. My husband and I plan to plant the flowers today – remember we live in Montana so summer is just getting to us!
Ginger's Tips:
- Whisper White card base is the standard size 5-1/2 x 8-1/2
- All of the dap comes from the Cherry On Top dsp stack.
- The stamped images are from the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set Sprinkles of Life. This set has so many images that it would be easy to miss the cute tower used on my card.
- No fussy cutting for me – the Tree Builder Punch which pairs with the Sprinkles of Life Stamp was used to punch my cloud.
- Did you notice that perfect banner? It was done with the new Banner Triple Punch. A perfect banner every time! Can you believe that I was actually intending to ignore this gem. Silly girl!!
- The flowers were stamped in a variety of ink colors but I made sue to thoroughly clean my stamp after each time. The stem of each flower is of course the new In Color Cucumber Crush.
- The final touch are the 3 coordinating Candy Dots on the bottom right of the card.
This card makes me smile – I love the bright colors and the simple image.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
It is amazing to me how you seem to pick just the right paper for the card your making. This is a cheerful card, I like it.
Bright and cheery for sure! Love the cloud made with this set. I had totally overlooked the little flower and their stems with the grass in the set. It reminds me of the lazy daisy stitch I learned in embroidery when I was really little. I would make rows upon rows of these little flowers with small snippets of floss. Usually pinks, blues and yellows with some red ones and oh an occasional purple when I could get my little hands on a piece!
These flowers would look cute along the bottom of the envelope as well.
I poo-pooed the banner punch at first thinking it was a waste or money but we used it at card club and it was so fast, fun and easy that it earned a spot on my wish list.
Thanks for taking me down a trip of memory lane today. It was as happy as this card is!
Love love love this card! It is so cheery with the dsp & the flowers. I love everything about this card! I’d case this card for sure if I ever find my blocks! Absolutely adore this card.
What a fun card!! Love the paper, stamp and theme!
