For 6 months, I have been waiting for this day. My friend Eletha is coming home! Read more about her here.
One of the things that she is most concerned about is having thank you cards to send. Finally something that I could do! Making a purse full of thank you cards was truly therapeutic for me.
Although both the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper & the Painted Petals Stamp Set are on the retired list, it was perfect for my project for Eletha. The cards & the purse with some alterations was cased from Chaki Haverstick.
The card stock trim is Daffodil Delight. The handle trim is a Candy Dot Base filled with a Daffodil Delight Candy Dot. The bow on the handle is tied with 3/4" Chevron Island Indigo Ribbon – also retiring.
The tag from One Tag Fits All is stamped with Pacific Point Ink and the sentiment from Painted Petals is stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink.
Here's hoping that the 20 notecard thank you cards will be just what my friend needs!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and sharing in my joy! Welcome home Eletha!
Hugs,
Ginger
Very cheerful. I don’t recognize the background on the card, but I’m interested to know about it. I like what you did with the purse and the cards, very nice design for painted petals. I couldn’t make the link to Eletha work. I don’t know if it is at my end or your end.
Awww, Ginger this is so sweet and she will love this!! Who wouldn’t? I can’t believe she been hospitalized this long!
Oh Ginger she will love these! I am so excited that you were able make them for that reason! I am so glad she will “need” to use them! They are so pretty, bright, and lovely. I hope she takes it easy and doesn’t rush anything and have a set back. Wishing her and her family a wonderful welcome home celebration!
I couldn’t see the link either.
Nice purse!
