Many of my family and friends have May birthdays so I have been busy creating birthday cards. Cheerful Critters is such a nice gender neutral set. And, it works for any age. The images are stamped with Black Staz On Ink & either paper-pieced (stamp on the dsp & cut out) or colored with the Stampin' Write markers.
I chose to cut the critters out & pop them up with Stampin' Dimensionals but you really could just stamp on the card. A piece of Daffodil delight card stock provides a base for my critters. And, a cute little banner stamped with a sentiment from the Cheerful Critters stamp set is stapled to the right edge of my card resting between the piece of Daffodil delight card stock & one of my critters.
The background around the critters is softened with a Soft Sky Blendability. And the sky is highlighted with some stars from the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers. In addition, an epoxy heart from the same collection adds some charm to the last sign.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
After seeing your post I’m ready to Party! It looks like The Critters are ready to party also. I like the epoxy addition. Nice, nice card, it makes a person feel good.
I laughed when I saw this card!! Makes me want to party!! Great job with the addition of the epoxy stickers!
“Party on Dude” as Garth and Wayne from Saturday Night Live would say! Thank goodness this Tulip Party is coming to an end! The last night parade is tonight at 8:30 and then the conclusion! Yeah, Teddy has dragged all over so he could be petted! The boy is going to go into withdrawal next week with the students leaving too!
this card makes a great birthday card! So fun with the bright colors. A fun and different way to say happy birthday. Great idea for this set even though it is retiring. The epoxy stickers and blue background makes it even more fun! Great job!
