What a nice day – not in terms of weather but because I was able to do some creating today.
Two stamp sets that I have been anxious to use were my stamps of choice. The combination of Painted Petals & Butterfly Basics is a wonderful duo.
Butterfly Basics plays a supporting role with this card. Look closely under the blooms and you will see the Honeycomb Image provides some needed texture and visual interest. Gorgeous Grunge plays a role too.
In addition, the sentiment is also from Butterfly Basics.
The gorgeous background paper is from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper. It is one of my all-time favorite paper packs. The colors are gorgeous and the artwork is unbelievably realistic.
Flowers from Painted Petals were stamped with Rose Red & Wild Wasabi Ink. In addition, a sponge dauber and Rose Red Ink give the piece of doilie a new look.
Layered over the doilie, is the sentiment stamped also in Rose Red Ink. I just couldn't help but add lots of Pearls. Both stamped pieces are edged with Rose Red Ink.
Do you recognize where the lace ribbon bow comes from? It can be found in the Artisan Embellishment Kit on page 27 of the 2015 Occassions Catalog. It so delicate and pretty. Just the look I was hoping for with this card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! If you need any of the materials used for my card, please click on the image below to be taken to my Online Store.

STAMPIN' SUPPLIES USED:

Beautiful colors and the ribbon is wonderful! The color in the ribbon reminds me of rasberry sherbert! Love the pearls and the stamp.
