Some of you wrote to ask me if you had to use Blendabilities and Window Sheets with the Gentle Peace Stamp Set. The answer is NO! That is an option but not the only option. My post today shows another possibility..
This time I stamped the image with Versa Mark Ink on Whisper White c.s. and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. The resulting silver lines remind me of the welds that you see on real stained glass.
My card base is once again Smoky Slate. A thin mat of Lost Lagoon c.s. is topped with a Whisper White layer that has been embossed with the Filigree Frame Embossing Folder.
This time I used the Stampin' Write Markers to color my image. Although I feel that the Blendabilities produce a smoother result, the markers still yield a nice product. After using a variety of colors, I trimmed the image and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Honestly, I wonder how it would look without any coloring. Might have to give that a try!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
That is really nice. I like the “welded” look. I thought that immediately when I saw it. I might have to get that stamp after all.
You sure are having fun with this stamp set and I’m enjoying all the different techniques your using. This has a nice result to it. I like the silver with the color and I’m anxious to see what no color looks like. Nice Work!
Stunning! The coloring, silver embossing and the textured embossing make it look wonderful. I would lobe to see a photo of the other card with this one to see the difference. I love both of them! Again, the smokey slate is the perfect mat choice in my book! Well done!
You are getting a lot of use from this stamp which means I’m loving every single card you make with this stamp! The colors were so soft & serene, perfect pairing up of colors. Awesome card again!
I love this card!! You are so flexible with your designs! Nice job!
