Although I have been gone for a few days, my abscence was not for anything remotely fun. My dear daughter-in-law Jamie had an accident – she was hit in the face with a softball. The injury required unexpected surgery. The good news is that she is back home and although very sore, she is making progress.
My husband and I were called into service for a few days and we just returned home. My intention was to create a card for Jamie but try as I might, my MOJO got left somewhere on the trip between cities. However, I did start a card before we unexpecledly left so I completed it for my post today.
This is a case of a card created by Janet Holmes. I changed a few things but the idea is hers. Don't you just love velluum ghosts? That is what is in the "ghost cutout".
The Fun Fall Framelit Dies contain the sweet ghost used on my card. The eyes were stamped with images from Freaky Friends. The Ghost dsp is from the Motley Monsters DSP.
The cute bow was tied with the White & Tangerine Tango Two-Tone Trim. I used it to tie in the striped dsp used on the edges of my card. Would you believe that it is from the Flowerpot dsp found in the annual catalog.
My intention tomorrow is to get a card made for Jamie. Please stop back to see what develops – hopefully my MOJO will make it back to my house!.
Hugs,
Ginger
I love this stamp. I, of course, have it!! This is a spooky card that anyone would like!
Cute paper, I got caught up looking at the mouth on the different ghosts. Cute idea. I hope your Mojo finds its way to my house. Barb
I loved looking at all the different mouths and the big ghost even shocked me for a quick second! One thing for sure, your mojo is never gone for long! Hope Jamie is on the mend too!
Hopefully smiling and/or laughing won’t hurt her surgical results! Oh, that had to have hurt! Wishing Jamie a speedy recovery. The eyes have it – but Casper isn’t too scary with those eyes. I think this is cute and that the little ghost is playing a trick on us. Love that trim – perfect with that paper! Great job as always!
