The wait is finally over! The Holiday Catalog is now available and I am highlighting product from page 41 of the new Holiday Catalog.
It's time for another sketch challenge for PPA. Thanks Nicole Watt for providing us with this sketch.
Because layer 3 is so large, I chose to use the Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper. It provides some visual interest & a nice variety of colors. However, it was too bright for my card so I sponged soft suede ink on the edges. For layers 1 & 2, I used Crushed Curry & Cajun Craze Cardstock. Layer 4 – the circle, is Mossy Meadow Cardstock.
In order to continue the fall theme, I used the leaf from the stamp set For All Things. Sponge daubers were used to add Crushed Curry & Cajun Craze ink to the leaf stamp.. The edge of the leaf was then rolled in Mossy Meadow ink.
Both leaves were then popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. Linen Thread was tied in a bow on the Gold Basic Metal Button . This was then added to the bottom of the leaves. The sentiment was created with 2 stamps from the stamp set For All Things and the banner was fussy cut and popped up near the bottom of the card.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
