At the Stampin' Up! Convention, I learned about a technique called Zentangle – think of it as doodling. It is a relaxing technique that you can do anywhere. And, you do not have to be artistic to try it. Check it out.
Remember that there are no rules - just doodle! Usually the technique is done on a small square of paper but I thought that it would be interesting on the Blended Bloom flower.
If you look at my flower, you will notice that I usually repeated a pattern 3 times on various petals. I changed up my patterns so that I had some patterns that were darker and some that had more open space.
Zentangle is an art form. If you are interested, google it to see many pattern suggestions. I even learned that there are books available. But, I just had fun doodling and I will definitely try it again. What do you think about this process? Please leave me a comment below with your thoughts.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I like this! I wonder how colored ink would look? I think this is something you could start out with a small square of paper and just doodle. Good job!
Wow! I would have thought it was DSP paper. Quite a lot of doodling on this flower. I always like a new technique. This one looks quite interesting. Nice work.
You did a fabulous job on your doodling. I guess I am going to have to buy this bloom to play with, as I looked through my shelves for something to try this on, and I just don’t have the right stamp. Add another one to my wish list I guess. I just have to try this someday.
