Because Midnight Muse is no longer available, it was suggested that we use Night of Navy instead.
I just couldn't resist using this stamp set with an alteration. The reason – after the Catalog Premiere, I was looking at the catalog with my daughter Beth. And, she said, "Mom, you have to use this stamp with a "wo" in front of da Man. Of course, I had to do it!
A mustache generally leaves no room for interpretation. Finding an appropriate sized "wo" took more time than actually creating the card. It actually comes from the set Honeycomb Hello. After stamping the WOW in Real Red, I punched out the first 2 letters to get WO. I popped this up with Stampin' Dimensionals on the mustache to create my play on words.
The mustache was stamped with Night of Navy Ink and cut out with the Mustache Framelit. The Whisper White layer was embossed with the Large Polka Dot Texture Impressions Embossing Folder.
Because diamonds are a girl's best friend, I had to add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels. A bit of 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon tied in a bow finishes the card.
This one is for you Beth!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Great sense of humor and way to think outside the box! I may just have to get this stamp now!
Very unique! I love the colors and the design! Reminds me of the song: I am Woman, Hear Me Roar!
What a good chuckle I had looking at this card and reading the background of its existence. I like this card, the idea for sure and the background is great, lots of bling. What a laugh you provided. We need to hear more of Beth’s ideas.
HAHA! I love how this turned out. And I now must copy your design. Too funny (and very cute to boot!)
I love Beth’s sense of humor! This card was my laugh for the day, love everything about it!
Chalk one up for you and Beth! Love the story behind the card and the comments people are leaving! I am totally amazed at those giant dots – just too much fun to play with. The bling is such a fun touch both the rhinestones and the bow! That ribbon looks luscious! I don’t understand the big craze for the moustache lately. I always seem to be one step behind lately. Ummm must be because I am short and have short legs! Good excuse as any! Anyway, love your end project running with Beth’s idea! Too funny! Sure wasn’t expecting that with a red, white, and blue color scheme!
What fun!!! So cute Ginger!!!
I am looking forward to my paper and ribbon share!! I love the papers and ribbon!
