Yesterday I talked about the wonderful ideas that Stampin' Up! makes available to their Demonstrators.  Today I wanted to share another example.  This card also involves some Sneak Peeks!

Isn't he just the cutest Octopus ever!  After stamping him in Night of Navy Ink, I cut him out with my Paper Snips.  It wasn't necessary but I wanted to pop him up with dimensionals so that his tenacle could wrap around the toothpick holding the "hello" sign.

I got ahead of myself so let me back up and explain the pop of color behind that cutie patootie Octapus.  I put a few drops of Coastal Cabana Reinker in the lid of the ink pad.  Using my Aqua Painter, I squirted a few drops of water from my Aqua Painter into the lid and swished my Aqua Painter around the lid to pick up some ink.  Using the Aqua Painter, brush back and forth across an acrylic block.  Turn the block over and stamp it on your Whisper White Cardstock.  Hold the block in place for a few minutes so the color can transfer.

The paper creating the background mat is from the Maritime Designer series Paper Pack that will be available June 2.  I created the little banner and used glue dots to adhere it to a part of a toothpick.

Now I realize that some of you do not like to fussy cut so I also made a version of this card for you.
