I still had the Traveler Stamp set out from yesterday so I decided to use another image from it for my card today. My Very Vanilla cardbase is a standard size.
Using an Aqua Painter & a few drops of Coastal Cabana Reinker in the lid of my Coastal cabana Ink Pad, I painted one of my Clear Acrylic Blocks. I stamped it on my card and let it dry.
After inking the ship image from the Traveler stamp set with Memento Black Ink, I stamped off & then stamped the ship image on the Coastal Cabana square.
Da Plane, da Plane is from Around the World Stamp Set. It was stamped off the same way as the ship.
The wave-like dsp was just perfect for my card. It is actually another sneak peek from the Maritime paper pack. A small 1/4" strip of Basic Black cardstock separates the paper from the stamped image. A Basic Metal Button tied with Linen Thread adds some texture and dimension to the card.
Thanks for stopping by my Blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
Nice looking card and different, I like it.
Wow, I like this card! You are really experimenting with different designs! You girl, Girl! Great job!
Ahoy matey – you did a mighty fine job on this! I totally love how you inked up the block – it looks like real sky with it’s variations with clouds! Love how you did the plane and ship – almost reminds me of an old travel poster would have been in the 50s maybe? That water is perfect too. The metal button is the perfect bling with that pop of black cardstock! Off we go into the wild blue yonder! At least my mind is traveling!
