Today is my sister Margie's birthday. Her favorite color is pink so you know what color my color pallette revolves around. Here's to you Margie – Happy Birthday!
Strawberry Slush, Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla are my color choices today. After using the Chevron Punch and having lots of "little chevrons" left over, I wanted to find a way to use them. As it turns out, flipping the spare pieces up so that the vee points up, I can glue them to the punched out chevron pattern. Repeat this process for the length of the very vanilla cardstock and you will end up creating the trellis.
Every trellis deserves some beautiful flowers and this trellis is no different! The Petite Petals stamp set and Punch created just what I needed. The flower image was stamped in Strawberry Slush. The Wild Wasabi leaves are punched with the Bird Builder Punch. The sentiment from Perfect Pennants is also stamped in Strawberry Slush Ink and then cut out with the Banner Framelits Dies. The splatter on the front of the card was created by stamping off with the Gorgeous Grunge image inked with Strawberry Slush.
The inside of the card is also stamped with the Petite Petals image. The inside sentiment is from the set Four You. The finishing touch was the addition of Pearl Basic Jewels to the centers of the flowers.
I am soooooo excited because my preorder goodies are due to arrive at my home today! Mr. Brown may feel like I am stalking him!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
I really like this card, fits Maggie to a tea. Nice job.
I love this card! It has all my favorite elements! Thank you!
I finally did get to see all the other cards you made! You do wonderful work! I love the new colors!! Oh, boy, won’t I have fun shopping!
Exquisite card! I love everything about this card & I know Margie will too!
Wonderful card! My mom’s name was really Marjorie but her sisters all called her Margie as does one of my cousins. Otherwise, she went by Marge. Anyway, my mom really would have totally loved this card! Every bit of it! You did a great job with the gluing – I think I might have given up! But the results makes it really look like a trellis. I really love the insight as much as the front! You totally amaze me with your talent! Super job ass always!
