Yesterday I was in the mood to create a lot of cards quickly. All of us can relate to the need to have cards on hand, right? Obviously, I needed a simple design that could be reproduced for many occassions. Choosing the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set, was a great starting point because I knew that I wanted lots of white space. The basic design is the same on each card with just a variation of cardstock, embellishemnets and sentiments. I will share 4 cards today and 4 tomorrow.
One of the big plusses about this design is that you can use what sentiments you have on hand. Sadly, many of the ones that I used are retiring. You know what that means – if you love them, then get them before they are gone!
The facts:
1. The card base is 4-1/4" x 11" scored at 5-1/2"
2. Cardstock layer is 3-3/4" x 5"
3. Image layer 3-5/8" x 5-3/8"
4. Use the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack to add piercing underneath the sentiment.
5. Stamp sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
6. Embellish as desired.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Be sure to check back tomorrow to see the other cards.
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Love, love, love the simplicity and freshness of this!!! Don’t have that set, but will be looking to recreate it with a new set!!! TFS Ginger!!
Each card is clean and cheerful. I like all of the colors you chose. The piercing is attractive. Nice job.
I love these cards because they are clean, crisp, and elegant. Good job!
Love that stamp set. That may be one set I come close to wearing out:). It is so versatile as you have demonstrated.
Clean, crisp, and fresh sure describes these beauties! I can’t decide which is my favorite with all the fun colors and different trims. What in the world am I saving all my candy dots and those boutique detail pieces for? I so can do this! Well, I don’t think I have that specific flower but probably one that would work. Love the piercing too! I really love how you take one stamp and then change it up so easily giving us lots of different choices and ideas! Your mating is the best! Plus you have more tomorrow – be still my heart! I can’t wait! Gotta CASE these for sure!
What a great way to show us how a card can be changed in a quick minute but yet be perfect for what ever occasion we need it for. Love every single card you showed us! I can hardly wait for tomorrow to see the cards!
