As the Stampin' Up! year comes to a close, it is time to say goodbye to some favorites.  During the course of the next few weeks, I will be showcasing items that you may want to get before they are gone.  If you have not subscribed to my blog, please consider subscribing so you don't miss any posts.

Today I am featuring the Afternoon Picnic dsp currently on the retired sale list while supplies last and the stamp set So Very Grateful from the Celebrate the Everyday Mini Catalog which ends on June 1, 2014.

Rich Razzleberry, Coastal Cabana, Very Vanilla & an accent of Daffodil Delight form my color palette for this card.  The flower image is stamped with Memento Black Ink.  I used the Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive Blendabilities to color the flower.    If you are interested in coloring with the blendabilities, then you may want to pick up So Very Grateful stamp set before it is no longer available.  Although this is a quick card to make, I feel that it has some pizazz too.

After coloring the flower, i cut it out with an Oval Collection Framelit.  A Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Marker provides the faux stitching around the edges of the oval.  The background paper from Afternoon Picnic adds a nice contrast for my flower.  A few strips of Rich Razzleberry cardstock add some pop to my card.

Oops, I just noticed that I lost a Daffodil delight Candy Dot sometime before I photograped my card.  There were actually 3 Candy Dots on the left strip.  I used Daffodil delight to pick up the same color from the center of the flowers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  If you need any of the products used on my card, just click on the shop now button located at the top of the page to be taken to my Online Store.
