The stamp set Oh Hello is one of my favorites and sadly it is on the the retiring list. Better get it before it is gone! I am fascinated by the arrows in this set so I wanted to use it one more time.
Obviously the Stamp-a-ma-jig was my best friend when it came to keeping the chevrons lined up. Of course, these would be really fun to do with different colors of ink but this time I just wanted to do a monochramatic card so you could really see the pattern. If you look closely, they almost look 3-D.
The sentiment is also from the Oh Hello stamp set. After stamping it in Calypso Coral, I punched it out with the Curly Label Punch. The mat was created by using the same punch with Calypso Coral Cardstock. After punching it, I cut the label in half and matted the sentiment. I felt that the card needed something else so a sprinkle of Gold Sequin Trim did the trick.

STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
I like this card! It makes me smile and puts a song on my lips!! It is bright and playful! Good job!
I do like this card, very intriguing. By the bottom row they look like 3-D boxes! Nice job.
Darling! Love the monochromatic colors and different patterns.
Yeah, it came through on my E-mail! I had to laugh as I was just thinking wow, these almost look 3D and then you mentioned it. Bright and playful just like Marjorie said! I bought this set thinking I would love to make a similar card but I don’t think I ever inked it up! At least I think I did because I loved the patterns on those chevron pieces!
Have a great weekend with your family and the “show” – oh, does your daughter have a blog too? I would love to see some of her work!
