It's time for more fun with the Pals Paper Arts (PPA).  This time it is a color challenge.  Check out the color combo below.

For a change, I didn't struggle with a color challenge.  I knew that I wanted to use flowers but I wasn't sure which flowers.  After one false start, I finally settled in to a grroove with Simply Sketched.

My standard card base is Calypso Coral and it is layered with a pice of dsp from Gingham Garden.  The texture on the Pear Pizzaz layer is thanks to the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. The touch of color on the right edge is the result of the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder with a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock.  I used Paper Snips to fussy cut around the scalloped edge. The flower from Simply Sketched is stamped with Black Staz On Ink on Whisper White cardstock.  Using a Blender Pen, with both Calypso Coral & So Saffron Ink, made the flowers come to life.  The stems are finished with Pear Pizazz Ink.  After snipping the flowers out, I popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals on circles cut with the Circles Framelits.  A Calypso Coral Button tied with the same color Bakers Twine adorns the last circle.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the flowers.  It is stamped on a piece of the dsp which is then flagged to create a banner.  The final touches are a bow tied with 3/8" Pear Pizazz taffeta Ribbon and the liberal sprinkling of Pearl Basic Jewels. I am channeling my inner Ann Schach!
