It's time for more fun with the Pals Paper Arts (PPA). This time it is a color challenge. Check out the color combo below.
For a change, I didn't struggle with a color challenge. I knew that I wanted to use flowers but I wasn't sure which flowers. After one false start, I finally settled in to a grroove with Simply Sketched.
My standard card base is Calypso Coral and it is layered with a pice of dsp from Gingham Garden. The texture on the Pear Pizzaz layer is thanks to the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. The touch of color on the right edge is the result of the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder with a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock. I used Paper Snips to fussy cut around the scalloped edge.
The flower from Simply Sketched is stamped with Black Staz On Ink on Whisper White cardstock. Using a Blender Pen, with both Calypso Coral & So Saffron Ink, made the flowers come to life. The stems are finished with Pear Pizazz Ink. After snipping the flowers out, I popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals on circles cut with the Circles Framelits. A Calypso Coral Button tied with the same color Bakers Twine adorns the last circle.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the flowers. It is stamped on a piece of the dsp which is then flagged to create a banner. The final touches are a bow tied with 3/8" Pear Pizazz taffeta Ribbon and the liberal sprinkling of Pearl Basic Jewels. I am channeling my inner Ann Schach!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Remember, if you have any questions about ny card, I am only an email away.

STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
What a treat you have given us this morning! This card is beautiful! I love the color combinations you used and how the Honeycomb is at an angle, the beautiful bow from Pear Pizazz ribbon, the pearls on the needlepoint border. The way you water colored the Simply Sketch flowers. The idea to put them on a circle of a different color, along with the circle just for the button. The baner is perfect! Nice pick on the DSP. This card is truly outstanding, I can’t say enough, I love it!
Love this card! The more I looked at it, the more I like the color combination, design and embellishments! Good job!
I absolutely love this card! The colors, the design, the embellishments everything about it! This was a homerun with me!
Fantastic! And, your watercoloring is perfect. TFS!

Wowzers! This card is fantastic! So many rich details! I had to smile about Ann. I know when I use pearls I always think of Ann! The circles are just so fun the way you used them. The coloring is great as well! With the banner sort of raised up a bit at that point it looks like the stems would have been the culprit! So realistic and life-like. Totally love this!
You did a wonderful job coloring those flowers!
I love the saturated, rich feel of your card! It’s so luxurious! I love being on DT with you and can’t wait to see what you make for this week!!
Simply gorgeous. This one caught my eye immediately. It is so pleasing to the eye. Nicely done.
