Yesterday when I posted the Mother's Day card for my daughter, I promised to show you another card using the the stamp set My Mother. This card is for my very talented daughter-in-law. Jamie is a wonderful teacher, role model and track coach. And, she is a terrific mom and wife. Jamie is not a bling kinda gal. Her tastes are more simple and so is this card.
Candy Dots and a bit of Coastal Cabana 3/8" Ruffle Trim add all the decoration I wanted. The card base is Baked Brown Sugar. A piece 0f Retro Fresh dsp is matted with a small border of Coastal Cabana c.s. showing. The sentiment is handcut into a banner.
Hopefully Jamie will like her card. I am so happy to have her as my daughter-in-law! She is definitely a keeper!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Hugs,
Ginger
I really like your use of the Retro Fresh DSP here. She will love it. Very well done and leaving off the bling. Don’t you just love those Candy Dots?!?!?
Nice choice, I like what you did on this card, different (which we like) but very nice.
Cute card! Love all the details from the main banner to the smidge of a mat! That ruffled ribbon grows on a person – at first I didn’t really care for it but the more I see it used the more I like it. Here it adds just a cute like spark to make you smile. Of course, loving those candy dots – I want think they would smell like banana for some silly reason! Another card well done and I am sure she will like it! Hope you weekend’s weather is as nice as ours! Hope the doctor’s appointment was a good one!
I think this card says Jamie all over it, perfect card for her! Love the dsp at first I thought it was washi tape. The colors are super ~ did I mention I love this card!
