Time for another PPA Sketch Challenge. This sketch is courtesy of the talented Nicole Watt – thanks Nicole!
Looks like fun doesn't it? Please consider joining us at ww.ppa.com. For my card today, I used a variety of products. How many can you spot?
I am happy with the way my card turned out. Of course, I see options now that I didn't consider when I was creating it. At first, I wasn't too sure about the Gold Foil. But, it has grown on me. I stamped the image from Blessed Easter three times with Black Staz On Ink. First on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, followed by twice on scraps of Watercolor Wonder dsp. I chose the pieces of dsp that contained a mix of Daffodil Delight & Tangerine Tango, and then a piece with a mix of Island Indigo and Daffodil Delight. If you look closely at the tulips, you can see that I snipped them from the dsp and popped them up with Dimensionals on the image stamped on Whisper White c.s. The Gumball Green Chevron dsp is also from the Watercolor pack of dsp.
The On Film Framelits were used to cut both the Basic Black frame and the tulips. The standard card base is Gumball Green c.s. The Gold Foil pieces of c.s. were embossed with the Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder. The foil paper yields such a definite pattern when embossed. it is a dream to use!
A pop of color was added with the strip of Tangerine Tango c.s. punched with the Scallop Edge Border Punch. The final bling was a splattering of sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim. Just snip the thread on the trim in order to slip sequins off the roll individually.
Oh, the answer to my question about how many products I used to create this card can be found below.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

STAMPIN' UP SUPPLIES USED:

Absolutely gorgeous, Ginger! I love the gold foil with Gumball Green and Tangerine Tango.
I love how you do the flowers and your color choices!!
This is a wow card! The gold makes it look so rich. I like the color of the tulips, the embossing you did, the sequins placed strategically! Thanks for sharing your talent.
Exquisite!
I really love the tulips. That is my favorite part! The gold part reminds me of a decorated cake with the frosting scallops! Not that the gold panel is wrong, it just reminded me of a wedding cake. Maybe I shouldn’t look at these cards before I have supper! How is you husband doing a week after surgery? Thoughts, prayers, well wishes and cyber hugs flowing from Iowa.
A beautiful spring garden Ginger!
