I decided to give the color challenge this week a try.  I like these colors together and with Valentine's Day right around the corner, I thought I'd participate in the challenge.

  Right

As you can see, I added Whisper White as my neutral to break up all of the "pink" tones.  The Texture Impressions Embossing Folders are just the ticket to add some texture to my white pieces.  Unfortunately, I used an Embossing Folder ( Pretty Print) that is no longer available.  Sorry about that!  I really try to use current product.

When I think of "love", I associate the xo symbol.  Although I didn't have that exact embossing folder. I did have xxxxx folder.  The Needlepoint Embossing Folder adds a nice touch at the bottom of the smaller white piece of c.s.  Wanting lots of texture for this card, I also used the Adorning Accents Edgelits in order to add a lacy edge.

Left

Cascading hearts add some interest but they were just too plain before I used the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits to provide some texture.  A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels add some bling – what's a heart without bling!

Flat

After looking through my stamp sets, I decided that the Love You to the Moon set had just what I needed.  I wanted a sentiment that was bigger and that had some thickness to it.    Seems like I have been on a mission with the Candy Dots lately!  Again, I used a trio from the Regals Collection. Although they are not a perfect match, they blend in just fine.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Hugs,

Ginger
