Oh my gosh! It is so good to be back posting. My husband & I took a short vacation & although I had cards ready to post, technology got the best of me. But, I am back and ready to share some cards with you.
Sometimes don't you just feel like making a quick card? I was in the mood for clean & simple and I have been itching to use the stamp set A Dozen Thoughts from Stampin' Up!. Honestly, I think the inspiration for this card came from hosting a deck party. The gingham paper reminds me of a tablecloth. Luckily the paper pack Gingham Garden had exactly what I was looking for.
Have you noticed that anything on a diagonal is trendy? Because my card is simple, I felt that the sentiment at a jaunty angle would add some visual interest. The color palette goes right along with the colors of summer. A few Candy Dots completes the look.

Nice card, simple but interesting. I like the saying and I like the positioning of it.
