I am just having a good fit of laughter.  When I typed my title, I inadvertantly typed A Ginger nap.  It's almost 11:00 p.m. here so I am probably deliriously tired enough that I subconsciously typed "nap".  Okay, I agree, it isn't really funny.

On to my card for today.  If you have been following my blog, you probably know that I generally don't create many vintage cards.  I like them but I guess that I am not as comfortable creating them.  This was going to be my PPA card but it wasn't finished in time.

The background is created with a piece of Cherry Cobber dsp from the Regal DSP Stack.  I liked the punch of color that it provided.  It is matted on a piece of Midnight Muse c.s.

The Very Vintage Wheel was inked with Midnight Muse and rolled on a piece of Very Vanilla c.s. I just trimmed the piece to fit my card.

In order to define the wheeled image, I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch with some Midnight Muse c.s.   It helps to focus the eye on my main image.

Speaking of the main image, it is from the Layered Labels stamp set.I satmped the image twice.  Once in Cherry Cobbler & once in Midnight Muse.  The center image was snipped out of the Midnight Muse.  And the word "Heartfelt" was colored with a Cherry Cobbler marker.

Finally, any vintage card needs pearls to finish it off.  Just ask my friend and vintage Queen, Ann Schach!

Hope you like my attempt at a vintage card.  Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Hugs,

Ginger
