My post today is for the Sketch Challenge from the Pals Paper Arts (PPA 165). Thanks to the uber talented Nicole Watt for the sketch.
When I saw the big circle in the sketch, I knew immediately that I would use the stamp set Regarding Dahlias. I think I have mentioned once or twice, or maybe a 100 times that I really like this stamp set! As long as I was using a favorite stamp, I decided to pair it with my favorite designer paper – Mixed Medley.
After stamping the image twice on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Black Staz On Ink, I fussy cut the center of the flower from one image. If you look closely, you can see that it is popped up on the first dahlia image. A blender pen used with Daffodil Ink gives the flower a touch of color.
The Circles Collection Framelits made it so easy to cut out the Dahlia image and the black mat. If you don't have them, consider getting them. What an awesome tool!
