It's another Timeless Talk card day.  This time I am featuring the bicycle from the set.  Thank you Stampin' Up! for giving us this set. Love it!!

Trike flat

The Quatrefancy Speciality DSP offers so many bright & cheerful choices.  I  like the "nautical " look provided by the combo of Island Indigo, Pool Party & Calypso Coral so I chose an Island Indigo pattern from the dsp.

In my first attempt, I stamped the bike image full strength, then moved across the card without reinking.  But, the card seemed off balance so I stamped full strength in the middle and then stamped the image again on the left & right, without reinking.

Allthough I could have kept the white space, I decided to add the dsp with just a 1/4" border on top.  After adding the banners, it seemd like they needed more definition so I added thin strips of dsp to the top of the calypso coral banner & the bottom of the pool party banner.

But then my bicycles seemed to be floating.  I did not have much space underneath them but I needed something.  Enter the Needlepoint Border.  It provided the grounding I was looking for plus an added bonus of texture. But then it became apparent that I needed a balance for the Calypso Coral banner.  I used the circle from Itty Bitty Punch Pack to punch some spoke covers out of calypso coral c.s.

In order to assure that my sentiment was straight, i used my Stamp-a-Ma-Jig.  I sure seem to use this a lot!  Does this mean that I have a crooked eye?  Rhinestones added the final touch.  But looking at it now, I think that my wheel covers need a rhiestone center.  I will be right back…..

Flat rhinestones
That's better I think.  How about you?
