This morning I realized that I needed 2 masculine birthday cards. Because I don't make as many guy cards, I sometimes struggle with them. You know – can't be too feminine, but can't be too plain either. As I thought about what to do, I remembered the stamp set Clockworks in the current Stampin' Up! catalog. It was a set that I liked right from the start and I thought it would be great for a masculine card.
Because this card has to be mailed, I wanted to be careful about too many layers or embellishments. Clockworks is just such a fun set. Honestly, I will be using it a lot more. With it, I can make a nice card quickly. The collage effect is terrific because you can't make a mistake. There is no right or wrong. So, you can have fun with color and placement. Tomorrow I will share the 2nd card that I made using this set.
Did I say that I LOVE this set? If you don't own it, seriously consider getting it. It will make those masculine cards a cinch. Just add a sentiment to fit the occassion and you are done.

Amazing, that is what you are with card making. I couldn’t see much possibility with this stamp, I went right on by when looking at the catalog. I like what you did with this stamp and the border at the bottom, it all fits together nicely for a nice male card.
Wow, what a great card!! I like the abstract piece of art you did with the stamp!! You are an artist!!
I agree with Barb! I’ve never even noticed this stamp set in the catalog but now I need it! This card is fantastic! Love the collage effect!
Yep I agree with everyone on this card! Very nice for the males we try to make cards for. Love the colors too!
