Geesh! Yesterday was April Fool's Day and I totally missed it. No jokes on me or by me.
On to stamping! Stampin' Up! has some wonderful extra large background stamps. Using them makes it really easy to create a dynamic card in a short time. In the Spring Occassions catalog on page 18, you will find the Swallowtail Background stamp. Honestly, the first few times I looked at it, I had no intention of purchasing it. Can you guess who is eating crow now? Yep, that would be me! Check out the card.
This is one of those cards that looks better in person. The colors are much more vibrant than they appear in this picture. Can you see where I trimmed the image in order to make it fit on the card? I find it best to stamp this image at an angle, then trim to fit.
