Always An Adventure sure seems to fit my life this summer. We just returned from a few days in Yellowstone Park with 2 of our grandsons -ages 8 & 10. It was definitely a fun trip with many highlights.

My husband Bob has a birthday on Friday so I actually made this card for him. It just seemed to fit with some of our activities of late. And, with a box of shiny new preorder items waiting for me, I knew I needed to get his birthday card made before I could play!

Although my card may look complicated, it is not. The Always An Adventure stamp set & the Outdoor Adventure Framelits do all od the cutting with the exception of the Side Step Card.

I found this card on a blog hop that Debbie Henderson participated in. She did a tutorial explaining the card which you can see by clicking here. It is a fun card with a definite "wow" factor.

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:
Aug 8, 2016 | Friend, Generic, Hello, Thinking of You |

With the sun shining and bright beautiful summer days, it is the perfect time for a cheery card created with the combo of Fresh Fruit & the realistic Fruit Sand Designer Series Paper.

After creating the center panel for my card with the dsp & some slim pieces of Real Red c.s., I turned my attention to the luscious strawberry. The strawberry is stamped with Real Red Ink while the top is stamped with Cucumber Crush Ink. Popping it up with Stampin' Dimensionals gives it a prominent place to rule the strawberry world!

The sentiment from Badges & Banners is inked with Real Red Ink & popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I like the clean & simple lines of this card along with the vibrant colors.
Good news – my preorder arrived so I will be playing with some new stamps & paper. Of course, I will be sharing it with you!

One more Faux Frame card with the Remarkable You stamp set.

My card base is Pool Party C.S.. I stamped the flower image with Archival Black Ink & used Blender Pens & Calypso Coral Ink to color the flower. The stem of the flower sports a Calypso Coral Thick Baker's Twine bow.

A Clear Wink of Stella Pen adds some interest to my flower but it is hard to see in the picture. The sentiment from Thoughtful Banners is stamped with Tuxedo memento Black Ink. I think I would prefer to have the sentiment in the middle of the line rather than above it. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. If you need any of the products used on my card, then just click on the product below to be taken to my On Line Store. remember that if you have any questions about my card, I am only an email away and I really enjoy chatting with my blog readers.
