A Ginger Snap! I’m Back!

Riverton Make-n-take

First, let me apologize for my abscence.  I had cards ready to post but I was out-of-town and had "issues" with my blog.  But, all is well now so expect regular posts once again.

The card I am sharing today was one that we made at the Riverton Regional for Stampin' Up!  It was an opportunity to go to the Stampin' Up headquarters and see ideas, samples and new product.  It was a fabulous day!  If you would like the opportunity  to purchase new products early and have access to lots of ideas then consider joining now in order to get $155 worth of merchandise of your choosing for $99.  What a deal.  And, the best part – you don't have to buy another thing.  But, if you want to then you will get a discount.  To find out more, just email me.

A Ginger Snap! Sneak peek!

A sneak peek and a quick and simple card.

Thinking of You

I bet you can spot the new product I used on this card.  Did you guess some new In-Color cardstock?  If so, you are right!  Also notice the new embossing folder with matching stamps and punch.  Stampin' Up! is right on trend with this coordinating set!

As the date for the new catalog draws near, i will be posting information about my product shares.  This will include ribbon, embellishments and paper.  Stay tuned for more information.

A Ginger Snap! Tie It Up For Dad!

Do you ever feel like you need and want to make a simple card?  That is how I felt today and I knew that would work perfectly for a Father's day card using the Best Dad Ever stamp set from Stampin' Up!  I particulary like the sentiments in this set.

Best Dad Ever rt

Black and white fit my mood and the card.  Usually guys prefer simple cards with few embellishments.  This card fits that criteria to a tie – oops, I mean to a tee.  A red brad from the Brights Designer Brads adds a splash of color and it draws the eye toward the sentiment.  I scored around the popped up image, but it does not show up well in the picture.

The Simply Score Scoring Tool with the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate make it easy to whip up a matching envelope.  The retiring Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack provided a nice choice for the paper for my envelope.  The striped pattern fits in with the stripe on the first tie.

This set makes it easy to create a quick and easy masculine card for just about any occassion.  But, if you want it, get it now because it is retiring at the end of this month.  The following image is from Stampin' Up!  Best Dad Ever 120399 wood, 120681 clear
