Some people are so clever! I have seen this card on a number of blogs so I don't know who this card originated with, but, if it is you, please let me know so I can give you the proper credit.

It is a very simple card created with the Work of Art stamp set. Of course my color palette is Real Red & Night of Navy. The "flag " was stamped in Night of Navy and then fussy cut. It is popped up with Dimensionals,

A small heart was punched out of Real Red cardstock with the heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. It's a pretty simple card but such a dramatic effect.

The Pals Paper Arts have a color challenge this week so I decided to play along.
I used the Love & Sympathy Stamp Set. The image was inked with the So Saffron & Baked Broen Sugar Markers & stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock. The blue color is Pacific Point and it is incorporated with the scalloped border edge, the strip of dsp from the stack and the ink on the sentiment.
The So Saffron looks washed out in this picture but in reality it is not at all pale. The background pice of So Saffron cardstock is embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder. The Baked Brown Sugar card base is a standard size A2.

My card today is a quick but trendy card.

I used several papers from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack. This small sized pack is filled with luscious papers that make it so easy to create a card. It matches the new In Colors. Speaking of new In Colors, did you spot the piece of the new Lost Lagoon 3/8"Stitched Satin Ribbon?

I split the paper and stamped the sentiment from SaysIt All in the space between the papers. The star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Pack was used to cut a star from the striped dsp. A bit of texture and interest was added with a staple and a Neutral Candy Dot. That's all there is to this card. Pretty easy, huh!
