I just had to try another card using the Painter Tape Technique. And, I wanted one that could be easily mailed without additional postage. This time I chose a color combo of Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana, Perfect Plum and Smoky Slate.
The Houndstooth Embossing Folder treated the Smoky Slate Cardstock to some texture. Painters Tape worked some magic on the Whisper White c.s. which was then stamped with the flower from the Love & Sympathy stamp set using Smoky Slate Ink. The sentiment from Loving Thoughts was also stamped with Smoky Slate Ink.
Some Rhinestone Basic Jewels add the final touch. Looking at the card now, i wish I had used Wisteria Wonder ink rather than Perfect Plum.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
STAMPIN' UP! SUPPLIES USED:
Nice card! I love the colors and design!
So silly girl, are you wanting me to beg or dare you to make the card with Wisteria Wonder and compared them to see which turned out the best? I am not sure what the change would be. I do like this combination of colors. The Wisteria Wonder would be softer, right? I am really liking this technique too. I think I need to play with some tape soon! O.k. now you do have my curiosity up, I want to see the other version so we can compare! Plus, I gotta ask, what made you put whole line of bling on there beside the center of the flower. Just nosey! This is a great card.
